A Little Bit More About Us…

We primarily care for families in Gosport, Lee-on-the-Solent, Fareham and Hampshire, although due to our outstanding reputation we are often contacted by families from much further afield.  We are available 24 hours a day and will try and ease the burden you may be feeling.

It should reassure you to know that we are members of the National Association of Funeral Directors, which means we abide by a strict code of practice designed to protect families and ensure a high quality service is being provided. Our premises are regularly inspected and you can be assured that your loved ones will be cared for in a safe and properly equipped environment.

Suzy – Apprentice Funeral Arranger

Suzy is an apprentice at Ruby Funerals, where she is learning the important work of funeral arranging and supporting families through their time of loss. She takes great care in ensuring every loved one is presented with dignity, respect, and attention to detail, helping them look peaceful and cared for. Alongside this, Suzy offers a calm and comforting presence to families, supporting them with compassion and understanding while ensuring every service is arranged with care and professionalism.

In her spare time, Suzy enjoys martial arts, where she also teaches children, and she loves spending time caring for her animals. Having grown up within the family business, she continues a deeply personal commitment to supporting families with kindness and respect.

Our staff do not job share, so you will be cared for throughout your journey with us. Although we are a female run funeral home, we can provide both male and female Funeral Directors should you have a preference. If you would prefer your loved one to be dressed and cared for by either a man or a woman, you only need to ask.
